Phil Niekro Golf Classic is November 17, 2011 The annual Phil Niekro Golf Classic is an exciting community event that raises funds for the Edmondson-Telford Center for Children, a non-profit organization that serves abused or neglected children.The Phil Niekro Golf Classic has become one of the most enjoyable and successful fundraisers in North Georgia. Each year, thousands of dollars are raised to help the Edmondson-Telford Center care for child victims of abuse and neglect in our community. At the conclusion of the tournament, the drawing will be held for those who have purchased tickets in Niekro's 9 Raffle. This year’s 15th annual tournament will be on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at the Chateau Elan Winery and Resort.
